Charity Champion Lloyd Moulder, Co-Founder of designer bathroom supplier BathWorks, based in Woodford Green achieved his target to raise £10,000 for Haven House Children's Hospice at the same time as celebrating the company's 10 years in business.
Haven House said thanks to Lloyd with an invitation to visit the Hospice to mark his support for the charity's Pay for a Day scheme. He signed the Book of Days, received a special framed certificate and met mascot Henry the Hound.
Pay for A Day is an opportunity for donors to provide 24 hours of care, support and fun for local life-limited children. It could be the day a child comes to the newly enhanced hospice surroundings for the first time and discovers all the great things to play with and enjoy. Or it could be the day a family spends together outside playing or exploring the large gardens. Haven House supports young people from North and East London, West Essex and East Hertfordshire 365 days a year.
Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of the Woodford Green hospice said "Lloyd's personal fundraising efforts for Haven House have been tremendous - £10,000 from one individual is an amazing sum and will do so much to help our work with local life-limited children and families. A big thank you to Lloyd for his huge commitment to the hospice."
